Colleen Shipman would be much relieved after the courts sentenced Lisa Nowak an ex-astronaut for attempted kidnapping and killing whereas Lisa Nowak offered her apologies about the incident to stay out of jail.
Colleen Shipman is the lady who has a strong love relationship with the Bill Oefelein the astronaut of NASA, who was the former lover of Lisa Nowak. Lisa extended her sincere apologies but that can’t bring Colleen Shipman to her normal condition and situation.
Lisa Nowak, a married lady with two kids and still not satisfied. She tried to kidnap and kill her rival of love in 2007. She traveled for 1000 Kilometers from Houston to Orland to commit the allege crime, she was motivated enough to fix her problem by killing Colleen Shipman. She tried to put her in car but Colleen was lucky to escape. Lisa was charged with third degree of burglary and kidnapping.
During the hearing for the final decision, Colleen expressed her feeling that Lisa was determined to kill her but she managed to get away from her.
Lisa Nowak expressed remorse over the incident and as Colleen Shipman for her apologies in front of the court to Colleen for her action.
Colleen told the court that she lost her air force job due to this incident, she is having nightmares and her physical and mental condition is not stable to carry her job and that Lisa should be punished more seriously.
The court charged Lisa with one year probation and few days’ prison. The court was little lenient for Lisa due to her past record otherwise the charges would be more for the former astronaut.
Lisa Nowak was a mission specialist for the space mission in 2006.
