Conservapedia is a website of bible conservative translation, developed and designed by a group of Christian conservatives and creationists. The website is a conservative bible encyclopedia designed like wiki. The group who developed and designed Conservapedia tried to eliminate the liberal version of the Holly Bible.
Conservapedia was initiated by Andy Schlafly, a social sciences teacher and a lawyer. Conservapedia project was started in 2006 and Andy told that he felt the need of Conservapedia because he found Wikipedia as an anti American, anti Christian and Liberal intentions in their concerned matter.
Conservapedia is not the first Conservative and Christian based web site, there are lot other websites with the same intentions and thoughts. Conservapedia adopted the themes of popular websites to provide a fundamentalist Christian substitute for people with the same conservative thoughts.
Conservapedia has been criticized all around America and other world due to the biasness and adulteration.
The Conservapedia first test of bible was in harmony with the approach and vision of project members. Conservapedia management claims to the project as translation of bible with conservative themes, but the matter and project work clearly makes the project, a rewriting project.
The Conservapedia project wasn’t known in public when it started. Regardless of the basic thoughts of the group behind this project whether they tried to rewrite or translate bible, the fact is very clear about Conservapedia project that the intentions is to present the Bible without the liberal interpretation and purely based on conservative thoughts.
