Cosby Show Reunion on NBC’s Program “The Today Show”. The cast from Cosby show reunited on the 25th anniversary yesterday on 19th May, 2009. Twenty five years back on NBC TV “The Cosby show” was first presented in 1984. Bill Cosby, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Raven Symone, and the complete family were invited on “The Today Show” to share their memories.
The Cosby show was presented back in 1984 and become an instant hit in America and worldwide. The show stayed on-air for about 8 years. On 30th April, 1992 the Huxtables said goodbye. Once again watching The Cosby Show Reunion on TV after a long time was overvaluing.
Talking to the host of “The Today Show” Bill Cosby said upon asking that you guys are still laughing he said, yes because it’s funny and love is there it is all genuine, real and the director led the way in editing and he did different things apart from the usual.
Whereas Malcolm-Jamal Warner said talking to the host that “The Cosby show” is still popular out there just because of Bill Cosby’s visualization, he said that Bill wanted the show to be eternal. Jamal said that if he wanted to put colloquial speech in the dialogs, he disallows it by saying that lets make up slang, so that people could remember and can use the slang even after 20 year later. Malcolm-Jamal Warner played the role of “Theo” in the show.
Keshia Knight-Pulliam said that that she think of “the Cosby show” family as an American family instead of an African American Family, she also said that that was the thing about the show which was innovative and it is still significant today. Keshia Knight-Pulliam who played the role of a 4 year old girl “Rudy” in the show said that the issues of the families are not about race.
Over all it was fun watching “The Cosby Show” reunion on the television once again.
