Country Music Awards 2010

Some interesting twist of fate this time around for Taylor Swift as she didn’t win a single award at the Country Music Awards 2010 event even while being nominated a total of five times! She must be wondering where she went wrong in such a shot time span since last year she won an astounding number of awards from various events. Maybe she needs to realize that with time the taste also changes and she needs to adapt to keep pace with all the new talent coming into the music industry. Anyhow the Country Music Awards 2010 wasn’t put up for her and she should get over it.

Here are the winners by categories of the Country Music Awards 2010: The top new vocal duo award went to Rory and Joey who couldn’t contain their glee. The top female vocalist went to Miranda Lambert who also sung a new release of hers which stunned the audience, while Brad Paisley won the male counterpart of the award taking home the top male vocalist title. Lady Antebellum took home the most awards with the number coming to three. The one that most impressed me about her was her winning the song of the year title at the Country Music Awards 2010 while being the top vocal group was also an achievement she might remember forever, their third and last award was the single record of the year award which she couldn’t stop smiling about as she stepped up to receive it.

The top new solo vocalist went to Luke Bryan who has now also made an appearance on the Celebrity Apprentice alongside Emily West.
