According to the reports, FBI has started investigating the Daniel Boone National Forest
murder case of the census field worker. The census field worker, who was identified as Bill Sparkman, was found hanged and dead in Daniel Boone National Forest on September, 12. There was no clue available about the murderer of the hanged person initially but recent reports have stated that a word ‘fed’ was scrawled on his body. The police officials have told the reporters that it is apparently a matter of homicide.
The FBI is investigating the matter in collaboration with Kentucky State Police. FBI is trying to find out if the killing was done as result of foul play or not? And if it was done as result of foul play then whether the whole scenario could be related to his census work? The investigators have been keeping a silence on the matter of investigations and no formal statement has been made by the police officials yet. The postmortem report of the dead body is pending to be released this week. The postmortem report will help the investigator to find a clue if there was any pre-murder stabbing too. The FBI officials are working closely with the state police.
Bill Sparkman was one of the census team members who were collecting data from house to house in the country side. Bill Sparkman was found hanged in Daniel Boone National Forest near the cemetery in southeast Kentucky. The Census Bureau has put the remaining house-to-house interviews in the rural area of Clay County on halt.
