
Daniel Schlereth didn’t get a lot of sleep on Thursday night, after hearing that he has been called to play the major league. He told the media that he was expecting to be in the Mobile for a slight longer and was not expecting to be called for the major league so soon. Moreover he said that he is quite pumped-up and he will get his sleep.
Daniel Schlereth is from University of Arizona and he was the Double-A Mobile’s top pick for the year 2008 during the draft. Daniel Schlereth has now joined the Diamondbacks relief pitchers dugout and he will be warming up for the upcoming games soon, he has joined the Diamondbacks dugout during a game Friday from Double-A Mobile. On the Friday he has placed a 1.42 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 19 innings.
Daniel Schlereth said he was not expecting it to be so soon and was caught-off-guard by the endorsement, he said this was not in his mind and was expecting to be in Double-A Mobile for more of the season. Talking to the media Daniel said that he is happy and excited and he feels like blessed, moreover he said that he is feeling lucky and he is hopeful that he will be able to help out the club, he said that he will try to be more consistent that before.
Daniel Schlereth said that he has been having trouble with his fastball control but the past results shows opposite to that. In his last 19 innings he has walked 13 times, but besides that he has been good in past times his fastball travels in some 90’s and stays low, and made a knee clipping arc.
