Dave Chappelle did show up at Pioneer Square, Portland, Oregon last night on Tuesday and into Wednesday morning. Up till now you guys have heard the rumor about Dave Chappelle doing a free show at Pioneer Courthouse Square at midnight on Tuesday, but it became true when he showed up At 10 minutes to 1 this morning at the Pioneer Square with a 10-inch battery powered Amp in his hands.
Rumor started Tuesday morning at Local 35, the twitter page for Local 35 says, that he will be doing a free show at Pioneer Courthouse Square, it came out of his mouth and he said to spread the word. Dave Chappelle did some shopping earlier at Local 35 in the morning.
Over 5,000 people gathered at the Pioneer Square and waited for their loved standup comedian Dave Chappelle, it was almost 1:00 A.M Wednesday morning when people heard a voice saying “I don’t know about you guys, but I learned one thing tonight; Do not tell a secret in Portland” and then he appeared as he was about to make a request to the audience to go home. He right away admit that he when he said that he will be doing a free show at the square he had no idea what he had get himself into.
Talking on the Battery powered Amplifier he said that he had no idea how he told only four people about his plan of a free show and over 5,000 people showed up. Moreover, he said maybe next time he will think of it and maybe 200 people will show up.
Then he requested the audience to go back home Phone camera flashes surrounded the area until he reached his vehicle but before leaving the Pioneer Courthouse Square he did joked about himself he said “I didn’t know I was still famous. Now I know”.
