David Sedaris and SantaLand Diaries are taken for each other. David Sedaris came into lime light when his Diaries were first broadcasted from National Public Radio in 1992. Seven million copies of his books have been sold throughout the world. Me Talk Pretty One Day, Holidays on Ice, Naked, Dress Your Family in Corduroy, Denim and When You are Engulfed in Flames remained on New York Best Sellers List from 1997 to 2008.

Joe Mantello was the man who turned these stories into a stage show. From its inception as stage show, it has become a traditional Christmas show to fetch a huge public. Many talented actors across the country have tried to fit in the pointed shoes of Sedari.
Joe Mantello has added one more tradition to the show as he introduces a new actor for the role every year. At this Christmas you may witness Gary Littman, not so popular actor of the town but who is well familiar of imitating voices.
Everybody has to find his own meanings in SantaLand Diaries. Children threw artificial snow balls while parents try to get a sitting in Santa lap for their kids. The SantaLand’s Crumpet, a foolish looking elf that tells every child that he is best to be favorite of Santa moans afterwards that he has to lie.
