David Wright concussion video has been attached with this article. David Wright concussion became an issue of immense concern not only for New York Mets but for fans and supporters and for all the audience present in the stadium and watching on Television, when he was hit by a ball while batting in Saturday’s game. It was a frightening sight for all the fans and viewers when David suffered a concussion after a pitch from San Francisco Giants Matt Cain hit him hard, he was hit n the fourth inning while playing against Giants at Citi Field on Saturday.
After receiving an immense blow to the head, he did not requested any assistance of any kind to get into an emergency vehicle which was certainly a good sign, as at first it appeared that David would not be able to depart from the ballpark on his own. David Wright was taken to a local hospital, where he was examined by the team of doctors and had a CT scan as well, the injury was above his ear on the left side of his head but it was not that bad, he was later discharged from the hospital after the treatment.
It must not be assumed that San Francisco Giants Matt Cain meant to hit him or tried to harm him, but it was just a balling error. The ball travelling over the speed of 90 mph cannot be ducked and a big blow like this can cause extensive problems to human body, especially the head. The Met clubhouse also not seemed to assume that Cain pitched it at Wright on purpose and supposed it not more than an accident.
David expecting to play later this week but Mets did not mention any timetable on Wright’s return.
