Daytime Emmy Awards 2009 Winners—Let me ask you one thing is it all about winning? Don’t you feel that celebrities who are unable to win the daytime Emmy award this year but have performed excellently in their respective soap operas and other entertaining programs deserves some more respect?
Well the opening performance was of Vanessa Williams, the beautiful, actress/singer appeared on the stage in a dazzling white gown, and performed “Dream Girls”, and it was very impressive especially with that green screen proficiency to show her in scenes with Dr. Phil.
Rachel Ray and Gio Marini received first Daytime Emmy Award 2009 for their performances in Sex in the City and dancing with the Stars. It was a shocking moment for Rachel Ray, when she saw that the award for supporting actor was a tie, but later both received the award.
Then comes’ Vincent Irizarry to receive an award for “All my Children” his first and Jeff Branson of “Guiding Light” it was his second Daytime Emmy Award ever.
Cash Cab has been awarded as the “Best Game Show”, whereas, Bindi Irwin joined the line-up on the stage with Brad Andreson and Kirsten Storms to announce the best talk show winner and it happened to be the Rachel Ray show which won the “Outstanding Entertainment talk Show” award.
Kevin Clash from “PBS Sesame Stree” has won a Daytime Emmy award for his role in the series; Tamara Braun also won the award for “Best Supporting Actress” for her role as villainess in “Days of our Lives”. Best Director Daytime Emmy Award 2009 went to “One life to Live” team.
Many have won any many have witnessed their wins but the important thing is that we must show respect and affections towards those, who tried and fought hard to win but failed.
