There is an interesting advertisement blogs today on the internet created by an advertisement agency DDB Brazil, and posted by WWF that stands for “World Wildlife Fund”. The advertisement “The Tsunami killed 100 times more people than 9/11, the planet is savagely powerful “Respect it” “Preserve it” “is about the anniversary of the attack of September 11.
Something surprising in this ad is that so many people actually believed this advertisement came from WWF (World Wrestling Foundation). “WWF has strongly condemned this disgusting and tasteless ad and did not accept the authorization of its production or publication. They said, it is an illegal use of their logo and they were pursuing action aggressively to remove it from websites where it is being posted. WWF World Wrestling Foundation strappingly condemns the messages and the images portrayed in this ad On behalf of WWF.
This ‘Tsunami’ advertisement for World Wildlife Fund Brasil was actually produced by a team at DDB Brasil in last December. The spokesman for the group Steve Ertel told that this ad had been pitched to the advertising agency DDB, Brazilian branch of the WWF and was rejected, DDB Brasil apologizes to anyone who read this and was offended or affected by the advertisement.
