Well, Thanksgiving is all about Turkey dishes but deviled eggs have their own place as a complementary dish to Turkey. Eggs are not only full of nutrition, but also does not pose any risk to heart health if eaten in moderation and the deviled egg recipe I am going to tell is full of vitamins also.
- Pinch of Curry Powder
- Pinch of Garlic Powder
- Pinch of Celery Salt
- Pinch of Dill weed
- Pinch of Paprika
- Pinch of pepper
- Pinch of Ginger
- 1 tsp Horseradish
- 1 tsp Capers
- 1 tsp white wine
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Gray Poupon mustard
- 12 hard boiled eggs
Eggs are boiled in 7~8 minutes on full flame, however boil the eggs for a few more minutes to make sure that they have become hard from inside. Pour cold water on boiled eggs and remove the shells and if some egg membrane has remained on the egg white remove that also. Now cut the eggs into halves vertically with a sharp knife so as to avoid spoiling the yolks. Once the eggs are cut, remove the yolks with a spoon taking care that egg whites are not broken from the sides.
Mix the yolks with mayonnaise and knead by adding white win. Once the dough has become somewhat consistent pour other ingredients and mix. Now pour the mixture into the egg white pockets with the help of a homemade cone. Garnish the yolk area with small cut green celery leaves.
