Direct TV is a directly broadcasted satellite service based network. This TV network works in the United States of America and now it has almost more than eighteen million customers. The Direct TV has set up its service in El Segundo, California. The Direct TV calls its network, “The 101 Network”. Cable providers and Dish networks are its main competitors. It has a vast network covering all of the USA. On the 17th of June 1994 Direct TV customer service was launched. A special fixed antenna of eighteen inches of diameter is normally used to provide the service to its customers. Direct TV also offers many local channels along with High Definition-TV. This company has ten satellites launched in the space to provide service to its costumers. The company has been excellent on providing good quality service and has been awarded with a number of awards. Direct TV has been attracting more and more customers in the last few weeks. A problem with the Direct TV customer service occurred on Tuesday; the problem was that something seemed to be wrong with the set top boxes of the Direct TV subscribers. The TVs of the customers got stuck on a single channel. People were very much annoyed and were not able to watch TV in their normal routine. A great number of people responded to this problem and called Direct TV customer service, but still many of them were not able to contact them. As a result the management responded on its Twitter account. The Direct TV customer service encountered some problems but now the problem has been resolved.
