Suspected Marion Barry pestering victim “Donna Watts Brighthaupt” released an official statement on 5th of July, 2009 regarding with the event that resulted in the arrest of the notorious former mayor of Washington, DC. Marion Barry who is 73 years old was arrested on July 4 just after when a woman flagged down a patrol car and filed a grievance. Marion Barry charged with crime pestering and will be seen in the court this week. Donna Watts Brighthaupt is a political consultant; Marion Barry is now in the law centre because of his current relationship with Donna Watts Brighthaupt.
According to the police, when a woman arrived to the police officer of the Park Police and asked that a man is sitting in a near vehicle to her who is constantly bothering her then Police arrested Marion Barry in the Anacostia Park at approximately 8:45 p.m. According to a spokesman of the Park Police Sgt. David Schlosser, Marion Barry was charged for only one cause and which is “misdemeanor stalking”.
Donna Watts Brighthaupt told that she did not ask the police to arrest Marion Barry and also didn`t have any intentions to be so. Donna Watts Brighthaupt also described that Marion Barry has been arrested by the police for the breach of traffic rules. If Marion Barry found responsible in the stalking charge then he might has to face prison of one year with a penalty of USD $500.
