Dough Hoffman has been defeated as the Election Results have been announced few minutes back. The open spoken candidate by the Republican Dough Hoffman accepted his defeat against the Bill Owens. The 23rd Congressional District in New York was having the signpost election selected by the Right Wingnuts led by Sarah Palin, Michelle Malkin and Rush Limbaugh.
Bill Owens won the election comprehensively after securing 49 % of the total casted votes as compare to 46 % votes for Hoffman. Dede Scozzafava who has decided to dropped earlier but still on the ballot paper secured 6 % votes.
This contest was quite interesting and unexpected within itself. The strong contender and original candidate from Republican backed out of the competition due to tremendous pressure from her own party. The Right Wingnut decided Dough Hoffman as their man for the show and the solid media campaign by the Sarah Palin, Michelle Malkin and Rush Limbaugh did enough to make the Dough Hoffman prominent enough to stay near to win from nowhere.
Well, all the correspondents, analysts and commenter expressed their different views on Dough Hoffman after loosing and the common comment was that Hoffman was comparatively new on the board.
One said Hoffman has no idea whatsoever about the issues and problems as he is even not the resident of district 23. He was also not able to satisfy on the issues and concern as he didn’t have any idea.
At the same time if it would be Dede Scizzafava, she would have won easily any ways hard luck Dough.
