Motorola Droid has not yet been released in the market, which has left everybody guessing about the release date. There are various expected release dates circulating on the net but the most credible one is 1st November 2009. The phone is being labeled as the best phone by Motorola up to date. It has some kool features to itself like a QWERTY, sliding key board, making it lot easier to type in lengthy e-mails. The phone has a big screen as that of iPhone and the platform used is Goggle’s new Android 2.0. O.S alone is a reason enough to have a look at the phone. Android 2.0 is designed in way to make the phones work faster. Moreover it has OMAP3430 processor which would also contribute to make the performance better by its 600 MHz speed. The phone has 5 mega pixels camera, able to take pictures in the night also. Android 2.0 is open source software, it would allow developers to change it or improve it. The phone is able to multitask and has interchangeable batteries that iPhone lacks.
16 million colors support would ensure that you see the pictures as naturally as nature has intended them to be. The phone would have an updated version of Google maps and your contact list would also reflect FaceBook contacts. Phone would have improved support for Microsoft exchange. You would be able to download e-mails from your different accounts into one integrated inbox. Moreover the software would make it easier to use different features of the phone while driving.
