TORONTO—Dustin Pedroia welcomes Baby, misses’ game. One of the infield back players of Red Sox returned back into the game and played Tuesday’s match against the Blue Jays while Red Sox had to miss out its two star basemen, Kevin Youkilis and Dustin Pedroia. Dustin Pedroia, the second baseman of the Red Sox, had to fly back to Boston to welcome his first baby boy Dylan. Red Sox has not yet confirmed any returning date of Dustin Pedroia.
According to the sources, Dustin Pedroia had to miss Tuesday’s game; as he had to spend time with his wife, who was hospitalized to give a birth to their first child. Kelli gave birth to Dustin’s boy Dylan, who is quite healthy, 7-pound, 20 ½-inches. Kelli said that, the birth of a baby boy will bring happiness to her and his husband’s life.
Earlier, The Red Sox Team Manager Terry Francona encouraged Dustin to flee back to his wife. Dustin got 1 p.m. ET flight to Boston and went directly to the hospital where his wife was admitted in labor room to give birth to the child. The manager said that the first priority of our second baseman Dustin should be to look after Kelli and his new born child, adding to that he said, they don’t know when Dustin would come back. He said that Dustin should take time, as he is going to welcome his first child because having a first child is a great excitement for everyone. He said all the players of Red Sox are very happy for this great news and congratulated Dustin on having his first boy.
