The lands of New Zealand had to suffer an earthquake of 7.0 which created a lot of devastation on those lands. This Earthquake in New Zealand was a very bad one. According to the residents of Christchurch the walls of their homes were trembling when this natural calamity struck the lands of Christchurch. Saturday will be always remembered y everyone living in that area for many days. This earthquake in New Zealand has been said to be the worst of all and the largest in the history of these lands.
The whole city was shacked due to this earthquake as all the glasses and bricks of various buildings were lying on the roads after the earthquake came. Some of the people like Markham McMullen who is the principal of the school at Darfield living near the epicenter of this earthquake said that it was so strong that it caused him and his wife to fell on the ground from their bed. Many ancient buildings and various other structures turned down on to the ground and their dust blew away with the air. According to the Civil Defense officials only two people were injured from the earthquake in New Zealand and the people were very lucky that there were no casualties reported. The lands of Christchurch continued to face the after shocks of this huge earthquake and the lands of New Zealand are still under an emergency as the occurrence of another earthquake is likely to become the truth.
