Ed Helms, a comedian and well-known American actor, whose full name is Edward Helms, was born on 24th of January 1974. Andrew “Andy” Bernard, the role of a correspondent that he played on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” is probably the best identity of this notorious actor. Another role of Stu Price which was played by him for “The Hangover” in 2009 is also very famous among his fans.
He spent his childhood and young age in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his early education in 1992 from “The Westminster Schools”. Being an 8-year-old boy, Ed Helms was very much inspired by the work of Eddie Murphy which was shown on “Saturday Night Live”. A study course of self selection was studied by him at the “Oberlin College” and the title of the course was “Film Theory And Technology”.
Ed Helms started his professional career of acting and comedy being a performer and a writer after completing his studies from the “Oberlin College”. This career was started with the sketch comedy bands of the New York City. At the same time, Ed Helms worked at the facility of post-production being a trainee film editor.
He was working in New York City as a stand up comedian when he was recalled in an interview held in 2005 in “The Daily Show”. The name of Ed Helms was announced by NBC in the end of July 2006 as a cast member of “The Office” along with Steve Carell (his fellow correspondent of “The Daily Show”). He played the role of Andy Bernard in this show.
