Eddie Gaedel was an American dwarf, who was born on 8th of June, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. Eddie Gaedel became the popular participating in a “Major League Baseball” game. Eddie Gaedel gained immortality in the second game of a “St. Louis Browns doubleheader” on 19th of August, 1951(Sunday). He became the shorter player in the history of the major leagues with the height of 3 feet 7 inches (1.09m) and Weight of 65 pounds (29.5 kg). Before being replaced by a pinch-runner at primary base Eddie Gaedel completed a single at-bat appearance and was walked with 4 consecutive balls.
