Edie Sedgwick was a famous American Actress. She was born on twenty April in 1943. She started her career as an actress in 1965. She was married to Michael Post. She was the girl of the year in 1965. Apart from acting she was also a model. She started working in short films produced by Andy Warhol. Edie Sedgwick used to attend Andy’s studio regularly and she was casted in a movie Vinyl. In 1965 she worked in the series of Poor little Rich Girl. It was a story based on a girl and how she spends her inheritance.
The series also included Poor Little Rich Girl face and Poor Little Rich Girl Afternoon. She also started the fashion of short hairs and colored then giving an artificial look. Her last film for Andy was the Lupe after that she had a dispute with him and no longer wanted to work for him. She then met Albert Grossman and signed up for work. It was reported that she started using drugs.
Edie Sedgwick health started to drop and she had to go to her home in California. She spent a lot of time in psychiatric clinics. She was arrested by the police in 1969 for drug abuse and was sent to the Cottage hospital. There she was being treated for psychiatric diseases. She was under medication to give a temporary relief to her pain. But the medication she used to take was another form of drug which had the same result if taken in quantity.
