Almost a year has passed since he was brutally seized from his car on his way back home after dropping his children to the school. Eduardo Valseca has not spoken publicly about the devastating experience that took place so many months ago but found that the right time may have come to disclose what all exactly took place in his seven and a half month absence.
It all started when Eduardo Valseca and his wife were on their way home to their quaint ranch on San Miguel de Allende after dropping their three children to the Waldorf school that they attend. While on a narrow road they were overtaken by a jeep only to be stopped as the jeep braked right after overtaking the couple. Another jeep that was behind them crashed straight into them causing a panic as men jumped out and forcefully dragged both Eduardo Valseca and his wife out of their jeep to bind them. Then they were driven to a location where Eduardo Valseca would spend the greater part of the year.
Eduardo Valseca was in a good state when he was taken weighing a healthy one sixty pounds but the condition that he was released in after his ransom was paid was in shambles as he could be seen as badly beaten while also suffering double gun shot wounds to the leg where he had been shot by his captors. Eduardo Valseca’s father (who owns a publication network in Mexico) and his wife collected the ransom money, which they said was under a million dollars and gave it to the kidnappers who were extremely organized in their methods.
