WWE superstar, Edward fatu, dies from heart attack on Friday.
According to the details, Edward Fatu, who was better known as Umaga, died from heart attack in a hospital in Texas, Houston. The news about his sad demise was released by a family friend. The WWE superstar was 36-years-old. The tattooed WWE wrestler was born in Samoa, America. Edward Fatu was a member of the famous wrestling family named Anoa’i. His cousin Dwayne Johnson and two uncles were also wrestlers. According to the Wrestler Rescue, an organization for the retired wrestlers, tells that his uncles wrestled also during the wrestling era of 1980s. Edward Fatu’s two brothers were also wrestlers who had contracts with WWE.
After his tour with Hulk Hogan in Australia, he was hospitalized as his wife felt he is having breathing problems. Edward Fatu was on a life support machine for several days where he died of heart attack. WWE website published the tragic news of the deceased wrestler on its website and expressed its condolence with the family.
Edward Fatu is a renowned wrestler who has won two International Championships. His contract was terminated by WWE in June due to violation of WWE’s Wellness Program. He refused to enter into rehab and hence WWE terminated his contract, says the wrestling organization’s website.
Edward Fatu was known as ‘The Samoan Bulldozer’ to his fans. He was an affectionate father who wanted to spend most of his time with his children after leaving wrestling.
