Edwin Valero committed suicide after being held by the police on Monday. The boxing champion Edwin Valero had been a former world boxing council champion and was known as Inca in his home country. The fighter was suffering from a drug and alcohol addiction which made him quite insane. The fighter was found at a hotel in Venezuela with his dead wife. The local police arrested him after he informed the officials at the hotel that he has killed his wife. Edwin Valero wife was stabbed by a knife when she died. Edwin Valero was previously arrested by the police to assault his family members. He was attending a rehab for his drug addiction and also took treatment from a psychiatrist for his mental illness. Edwin Valero wife was a victim of his cruel assault many times. Edwin Valero wife was a twenty year old woman. She even had to be taken to the hospital once when she was beaten up by Edwin and resulted in a punctured lung and a broken rib.
The former fighting champion was found dead at the police cell when he tied himself with his clothes. He suffered from brain hemorrhage after an accident by a motorcycle back in 2001.The accident ended his fighting career and was no more able to be a part of the boxing career. He was even arrested by the police several times for driving while he was drunk. He had a huge record of crimes and for that reason he wasn’t even given the United States visa. He claimed against the government for discrimination but still couldn’t enter the United States.
