Taronga Zoo is excited with the forward motion of their newborn baby of elephant as the calf (baby elephant) came through its critical 1st 48 hrs.
The male eastern elephant, dubbed “Mr. Shuffles”, is all the same receiving 24-hr care but is becoming stronger, as custodians tells.
He was weighed at 116kg yesterday, 20kg heavier than the zoo’s pervious calf Luk Chai afterward her birth past July.
