Luke Ravenstahl who has been recently elected as mayor of Pittsburgh has made a public announcement that he and her wife Erin Ravenstahl have decided to separate. He told that they have been doing their best to make their wedlock intact but some unavoidable circumstances have led them to part their ways. He told that he was caught in double jeopardy between the family life and public office. The effort proved futile and they have come to the final conclusion that they should do something which is in the best interest of their family. He clarified that they decided to announce the separation publically because it is mandatory for public people to make the information public. The mayor leaked the news in an interview with KDKA-TV and told that his public life always became a stumbling block for him. He also revealed her wife never wanted him to be the mayor and she never accepted my public life style. He revealed that her wife never liked his popularity. He told that she would have liked if he had not got the office of mayor. The couple was married in 2004 and they had a son, Cooper. When Mr.Ravenstahl was asked about different rumors about his disloyalty to her wife, he told that these are the rumors which forced them to announce the separation formally. He and her wife decided not to bear baseless stories. He told that public life’s pressures were so intense that he decided to leave the office. However, Erin told that the decision of separation was quite tough but they did it in the best interest of their family.
