Ernie Accorsi, the ex-General Manager of the New York Giants football team of the National Football League. Ernie Accorsi was remained on the position of General Manager from the beginning of 1998 till 2007 after his retirement. Ernie Accorsi took over the charge from the legendary George Young in 1998 and he handed over the charge to Jerry Reese in 2007.
Accorsi actually joined the team in 1994 and he was hired on the portfolio of Assistant to General Manager and after four years he took over the charge from Young.
The Giants lost their Super Bowl XXXV against the Baltimore Ravens after the final result of 34-7 and it was the defeat under the command of Accorsi. They remained in the finals of National Football league four times in 2000, 2002, 2005 and 2006 under the command of Accorsi but managed to won the National Football league just two times once in 2000 and then in 2005.
Accorsi was on the roll as he took very professional and bold step when he traded quarterback Philip during the National Football League in 2004. Team later managed to won the league under his command.
Accorsi is the man who is responsible of producing number of stars like Justin Truck, Willian Joseph, Brandon Jacobs and many others. He also hired the current head coach Ton Coughlin.
Ernie Accorsi also remained the General Manager of Baltimore Colts for a year back in 1982; he also managed Cleveland Browns for 7 years.
