The death toll has risen to 13 as a result of the Fort Hood shootings with several received severe blows. The police officials have not made the full revelation of the names of the victims. Amber Bahr was shot in the abdomen but he survived and is in good condition according to his mother. Peggy Mcatrthy told that her daughter, Keara Bono who belonged to reserve army, called her mom on the phone and told that she has been shot in her back. She came to Fort Hood one day before the incident took place. She was scheduled to go to Iraq in December.
The Air Force Academy will remain silent for some time in the honor of the dead soldiers.
