Frank Loesser is one of the greatest lyricists in the history of music. He was very perfect in his profession and was a great person as well. He wrote many songs and got various awards for them as well. Unfortunately he is not in this world now but he has always remained in the hearts of his fans. Today on 29th of June the fans of the great songwriter Frank Loesser are celebrating his 100th birthday. Frank Loesser wrote songs known as two sleepy people, Baby its cold outside, guys and dolls and how to succeed in business without really trying. These were his famous writings and he got academy awards on some of them as well. One of his songs is converted into a film and it was shown on television yesterday night.
This movie was a gift for Frank Loesser from his fans. Frank Loesser has done many great things in his life. He won an award for the best song “Baby, its cold outside”. He also won the Tony awards for his great lyrics. Frank Loesser joined the army in World War 2. He worked in the radio to encourage the soldiers and give them a new spirit with his energetic songs. He wrote a song during those war years “Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition”. Frank continued his work till his death in 1969. He died due to lung cancer. Frank proved his name worthy to be written in the ashes of history of the music and now the people remember him and follow him. He will always remain an idol for his lovers.
