Gabriela Pochinki, a gorgeous opera star, is charged with theft and creating a dramatic scene at a high-street restaurant in Manhattan.
Gabriela Pochinki will be appearing in the court today to face the command charges made against her by the café Nice Matin where she had dinner last Sunday and refused to pay her $34 bill. The management has accused her of trespassing and shrieking at the staff to create a drama.
Gabriela Pochinki was dining at the Nice Matin (pronounced as nees- maTAN), an Upper West Side restaurant in Manhattan. The witnesses told the press that Gabriela was talking on her cell phone in a very loud tone. The managers asked her to keep her voice low on which she got angry and started yelling at the managers too. The hotel managers asked her to leave, on which she refused and an argument started between them. Gabriela also refused to pay her bill. The argument was in full heat when the police arrived at the scene. According to the police, she was speaking in a very loud voice. They issued her a ticket on trespassing, misconduct with the staff, and theft of service (for not paying the bill).
Barry Black, Gabriela’s lawyer, visited her in the Lucerne Hotel where she was staying. He said that the case will be dismissed. Gabriela’s manager William Kitainik spoke high of Gabriela’s general behavior and sad that she’s an extremely polite person and he doesn’t know what had happened with her which made her that angry.
Gabriela Pochinki has been invited to United States by the Jackson family. She is scheduled to perform with them at Las Vegas in mid-November. Gabriela’s hoping that the judge will let go her and will dismiss the case.
