Gaines Adams, defensive end of all-American at Clemson has died on Sunday after having a heart attack. The age of this extra ordinary player was 26. The career of this shinning start never flourished with Tampa Bay and Chicago in the NFL. His death news was announced by the authorities of the Self Regional Hospital, said by the team.
A cardiac arrest was faced by him at the home of his family just an hour before of his death, said by the Greenwood County’s chief deputy coroner. His family house is located in Greenwood. An enlarged heart was shown in the autopsy of Gaines Adams. Enlarged heart is a condition that causes the heart attack, said by the coroner. Relatives of the Gaines Adams were not aware of his medical condition, said by the coroner.
Enforcement Division of State Law has run the toxicology tests to clarify the usage of drug by him if any, said by the coroner. She further added that the results of these tests could not be got before minimum of two months. The weight of Gaines Adams was 258 pounds and he was 6 foot 5 inch. Three NFL seasons were spent by him in which two were with Buccaneers and some of the season’s part was with Bears.
Raheem Morris, coach of the Buccaneers said to media that Gaines Adams was an absolute team player with positive effect to all he knows. In the draft of 2007 of NFL, he was selected as fourth player by the Tampa Bay.
