HGTV’s Design Star launched its 4th season of competition, premiered at 10 PM EDT on Sunday, HGTV. The prize for the winner is to start of new career and an opportunity to host an “HGTV Series”. The Show’s first episode debuted on 19th of July last Sunday and it seems to be a good season. Genevieve Gorder, Vern Yip and Candace Olson are performing as the Judges for current season and they are not scared to argue among each other regarding the bad and the good.
This time, the season held in “Hollywood” and the all contestant are residing at the “Chatsworth Estate”; which was previously house to Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball and other Hollywood elite. Their primary challenge was to renovation the house within the budget of $50,000, largest funds in “Design Star History”.
Genevieve Gorder is an Interior Designer and an American Television host. She was born on 26th of July, 1974 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At present, Genevieve Gorder is hosting the “Dear Genevieve” on the “HGTV Cable Channel. Genevieve Gorder attended “Minneapolis South High School”; she played football at “Lewis & Clark College” in Portland, Oregon and graduated from “School of Visual Arts” with B.F.A in Graphic Design. Although Genevieve Groder is well-known as an Interior Designer on Television but in fact she does not have the required education for it. However, she holds the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) designation.
