George Prescott Bush is the eldest son of Florida governor Jeb Bush. George P. Bush took part in his uncle George W.bush‘s election rallies. His appearances containing Spanish origin added charisma to the election campaign. He is a law graduate and has often been seen in comparison with John Kennedy Jr. He married his school mate, Amanda Williams.
George P. Bush is being perceived as a future asset for the Bush family and it is expected he might hold a state office in few years to come. But he has to suspend his endeavor due to mandatory service to his Navy Reserve unit which is being moved to Iraq or Afghanistan. Prescott Bush joined the unit in 2007.
He told the Daily Beast that the mandatory duty in Iraq or Afghanistan is not an option but a must for him. He told that he enormously inspired by his grandfather George H W. Bush. He expressed that his great inspiration to join the Navy actually originated from his grandfather who served for Navy as well. He expressed that he didn’t join the Navy for some political benefits and always wanted to keep it a secret. However his decision to join Navy was very much influenced by the criticism of the opponents of Bush administration who were against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. They pointed out that even a single member of the Bush family does not serve in armed forces to take part in the wars and, on the contrary, they have dragged other Americans in to the hell of war.
George P. Bush is being seen as a great prospect for Bush family and he hasn’t got bad credentials for his political endeavors except a police case of burglary that was registered against him when he was just 18.
