According to the police, on Thursday Glendalis Pagan was found dead in a vacant apartment of Manhattan. She was killed by the baby’s father. She was 19 and her boy friend Andre Velez is of 23. Police has charged him for the murder of Glendalis and to keep her hide down the hall in his own empty apartment.
Glendalis family members have an idea about the violent activities of his boy friend as she had told many times to her family about that. Pagan’s aunt said, she was scared and often said that he took me to an abandoned apartment and tied me up or chokes me many times. She told me about her fear just around two weeks back.
Glendalis body was wrapped in trash bags and nylon bags and her body found on Monday in the cabinet of an empty apartment located at 204th Street in Inwood. Still the medical examiner of the city has not declared about the reason of the death. Glendalis was sharing an apartment with her son and mother in Dyckman Street and that was the place where she was seen last time on June 3.
According to the police reports and her family’s statement, Andre has already been into jail for attacking Glendalis when she was pregnant three years back. He attacked on her with a hammer and entered into the apartment through a fire escape. After spending one year and 3 months in jail, he came out in March on parole. Now he has been arrested with a charge of second degree murder.
