It’s the third recall of automobile by the General Motors this year. The GM recall will consists of one and a half million cars and trucks with a faulty windshield water system. The GM recall vehicle includes models ranging from 2006 to 2009. The company is ready to pay one hundred dollar compensation to its customers for the faulty system that will be removed from the car to avoid any incident. The Company has asked its customers to bring their vehicles to an authorized dealer who will remove the system form their vehicles and as a result give them one hundred dollars as compensation. The system could have short circuited the vehicle and produce a fire. The GM recall was aired on the news and the customers are notified by any means possible. The company has been notified of five cars catching fire because of this faulty system and could result in any dangerous incident.
The GM recall will start after fourteen June and the helpline numbers have been provided to contact the dealers and fix an appointment for their system removal. The company has decided to compensate which is actually a good to avoid the loss faced by the customers. The company is facing an embarrassing after the third recall in a row this year. The company has a good reputation for reliable and user friendly cars which proved to be opposite this year. The management is looking forward to avoid such recalls in the future. It will surely affect the company reputation but it holds a major part of the automobile market which won’t make them worry.
