Apparently Google has had enough of selling its Android Operating System to Cell Phone manufacturers. “Wall Street Journal” reported that Google is considering a device of its own complete with Android Platform. The device is named as Nexus One. Reportedly Google has teamed up with HTC to come up with the Google Phone.
Initially the reports were that the Google device manufactured by Nexus One would hit the markets sometime during next year. However apparently Google has denied all such reports. According to the authorities at Google, Nexus One is being developed to test further versions of Android platform at home rather than having to commission an outsider to run the software on its device to check and debug it.
Reportedly the whole process of making Android evolve at a faster pace could not be done with desired pace and satisfaction unless it is tested in house. Google has announced that Nexus One would be given to Google Employees only.
If like me you are tracking the search engine giant’s progress you would note a remarkable similarity between what Google is doing with Nexus One and how it introduced other software products.
When ORKUT came, it was only for Google employees or you can join only through referral. Similarly when GMAIL came, it was announced that the whole idea was designed to facilitate Google Employees etc.
But one factor is common among all the things Google – Quality and Revolutionizing.
We are all sure that NEXUS ONE would eventually make it to the markets with great results.
