Google is the world famous internet search engine. it was established in 1998 on the fourth of September. It was founded by Lawrence page and Sergey Burinist headquarter is located California, United States. It is currently providing its services throughout the world. It first started as a internet search engine. They wanted to organize the information stores on the internet. It has approximately 1 million servers worldwide. It is the top ranked search engine.
It generates almost 20 petabytes of data every day. After Google search engine success they launched many online products. Their list of online products mainly includes a famous social networking website which was a start for the social networking industry the Orkut. Later they also produced the email service called the Gmail. The Gmail was one of its kinds to provide a large data storage space to its users. They also launched Photo software which could store and edit pictures called Picasa. Google has been increasing their variety of products every year and growing in user experience and popularity.
The web search engine has a monopoly in the market instead of having many other search engines by msn and yahoo. They launched a mapping system called the Google Earth which gives an imagery of the earth. Google changes their logo on every possible event and has a separate search page for every country throughout the world. Google is now planning to launch a online product called Google TV. The Google TV will be made in collaboration with other known companies. Google TV might work with Intel to launch its new online product. Google TV will be released soon to give its user a new rich experience.
