The city is the host for the second one day international cricket match of India and South Africa. At the start of the match no one knew that Gwalior India would make history .The match is being seen by millions of cricket lovers from around the world. India is a country full of cricket fans, if only the whole Indian nation watches a match the viewing would be more than of one billion spectators.
The match started after India won the toss and decided to bat first. Tendulkar came to the crease after the fall of the first wicket. He started off like a true legend which he really is. At the end of twenty five overs India were at a hundred and fifty nine runs and Tendulkar was about to reach his hundred. He kept on playing well till the end of the match. He was unbeaten and none of the bowlers was able to take his wicket. He led India to a hundred plus target and made the first ever double century in a one day international match. The crowd was going wild when he broke the record for the most runs of an individual in a One day match. The last record was of Saeed from Pakistan, he had a total of a hundred and ninety four. The Gwalior India will be remembered for Sachin’s spectacular innings.
