The film “Halloween Resurrection” is another episode of the sequel Halloween films. The film starts with a prologue of Jamie Lee who recaptures her sad role of Larie and finishes her character. The story revolves around the six students who are selected to act as the characters of a live internet webcast which is set in the home of a serial killer.
They boys planned everything but they didn’t have any preparation for the sudden appearance of the murderer who hates anybody who tries to enter his premises. The movie “Halloween Resurrection” assumes many colors and the interest of the audience varies throughout the movie as the plot of the film seems to be loosely constructed. Despite the director, Rick Rosenthal has tried his best to enliven and energize the plot but he seems to relapse in his established impression. But the audience expected improvement in his traditional style of making people engrossed in the events of the movie rather he seems to lose ground in his conventional quality that was quite evident in his previous movies of the sequel.
His style of making everything obvious is the indication that he did not fully understand his audience which can be stimulated more effectively when the upcoming events are kept in suspense. To enliven and rejuvenate the interest of the audience, events should have been hazy and delicately unfold. As a common sense, things when adamantly become obviously clear, the movie “Halloween Resurrection” loses its interest. He seems to diverge from the traditional norms of the “Halloween trade mark” as he didn’t show the title cards which were a distinctive feature of the previous movies of the sequel.
