The event reminds one of Timothy Leary – The LSD Guru’s work on dolphins. Through his experiments he proved that the creatures not only have feelings, they laugh enjoy and talk to each other. Perhaps human judgment of sharks as just predators is wrong. They can have fun also. Hammerheads are warm water creatures. Mostly found near the Australian and Central American cost lines. The interesting fact about hammerheads is that their eyes are at a distance of 3 feet from each other. There are many things that a Hammerhead would use as a meal including, yes! You guess it right people.
There were some 700 hundred contestants swimming to win a race off the coast of Australia. A hammerhead got bored with just roaming around with a little friend decided to watch the race. They came too closer to the contestants. Authorities had to use helicopter which was ready and a boat to hush them away.
Hammerheads have often been observed to have indulges in complex social behaviors. One of the ways they fend off predators is by schooling, which also helps them in selecting the mate. Regarding threat to humans only the larger ones pose a considerable threat, the smaller ones usually make other sea creatures as their food including stingrays.
