Harold and Kumar go to White castle is a comedy about two youngsters who get this dying urge to eat burgers from a very specific chain of fast food called White Castle. Their journey all begins with the smoking of a joint filled with cannabis. After smoking the joint they see a television commercial about White Castle which makes them adamant about getting burgers from there.
Harold and Kumar go to White castle was the first movie of the duo which was later followed by Harold and Kumar go to Guantanamo Bay, a sequel of the film which involves them getting arrested on the plane for saying the word ‘bong’ which some other passenger confuses with the word ‘bomb.’
The introduction of Harold and Kumar go to White castle is a scene of Harold, a push-over banker, being shoved a load of work and Kumar who is financially dependent on his father getting rejected from an interview after stating that his interviews were just an attempt to placate his father. After the movie starts it comes to notice that Harold likes a girl who is also his neighbor but cannot find the courage to confess it to her.
After getting intoxicated they leave for White Castle only to realize that it has been replace by another fast food chain called “Burger Shack.” The realization comes much to their disappointment but after inquiring they find out that there is a chain of their desired White Castle that is open all hours of the day. This inspires them to continue with their quest for those burgers that haunt their heads and bellies. On the way they stop at the Princeton University to get more cannabis and then head on towards Cherry Hill only to be confronted with more disasters of the funny sort.
