Heidi Newfield was an artist from her early age she decided her career when she was 13 years old that Country Music is going to be her passion and the reason of fame. She was 26 years old when she joined Keith Burns and Ira Dean. They formed a group names as “Trick Pony”.
First album of Trick Pony was released in 2001 with the album titled as “Trick pony” in 2003 “On a Mission” the second album was released by the group and in 2005 “RIDE” was the third album by this group by the release of their 3rd album they were hitting country music charts they have 8 singles on billboard country charts. “On a Night Like This” song from their first album “Trick pony” peaked to 4th number on the charts.
Heidi Newfield is not only a singer she also plays guitar and harmonica for the group and wrote many songs or helped writing songs in all three albums. After spending 10 years in 2006 Heidi Newfield said good bye to the group Trick Pony.
After leaving Trick Pony her first single was as a guest singer song named as “Gitarzan”. In the same year she started to record her first solo album for the recording company named as “Curb Records”.
“Johnny & June” was her debut song, peaked at 11th number on country music charts. Her bedut album named as “What Am I Waiting For”, was also released in August of 2008.
Heidi Newfield became the leading female nominee for “Sunday’s Academy of Country Music Awards” ceremony. She heard her name on CBS’ “The Early Show”.
