Hill Harper, an actor, scholar, and a writer, is releasing his third book The Conversation this September. Hill Harper’s Book is titled ‘The Conversation: How Black men and women can build love, Trusting Relationships’. In his book The Conversation, Hill Harper mainly focuses on the development of love between Black men and women.
Those who have been watching Harper’s movies can understand why the actor chose this topic. For those who are not so familiar with Mr. Harper should watch his movie Hav Plenty which was released in 1997. The very first scene of the movie showed a Black woman at a gas station where a Black man looks at her and give her a cheesy smile – but the woman just looks back at him and gives him a cold response. “Scene ends”.
Hill Harper’s The Conversation mainly revolves around the discussion about the distrust of Black women on men. Hill Harper discusses the reason behind this distrust and doubts among the community of black men and women. Lack of communication? Their expectations from each other? Hill Harper has discussed all these issues in his book The Conversation.
For all the book readers and the actor’s fans: this book should become an addition in your book list for this fall as the author did not disappointed any of reader/fan up till now and readers/fans think of him as gem of a writer.
The author has confined himself to discussion only and has avoided the tone of a serious lecturer. According to Suburban Journals, Hill Harper will appear in The Wendy William Show this week and both will have a combined talk about the book.
