It is pretty ironic how the national day for smoking cannabis falls on Hitlers birthday! And one would have thought that maybe the two would have something to do with each other but how can you relate the birthday of one of the meanest guys in history to an activity which is all about peace? The smoking of cannabis is not something that is new as people from centuries ago have been involved in the activity. The native Americans had the culture of smoking the ‘peace pipe’ when sitting around the fire and other traditions like those of Africa and china also had a similar culture though the drugs used might have been different depending on the territory.
Now back to Hitlers birthday, Hitler was a man many of you may know as the furor of Germany and the slaughterer of thousands of Jews but there is much more to the life of the man than what we made to believe. The man had a whole philosophy in life and it was one that was much greater than him. He believed that the world should be one and that anything and everything should be done to make it so. He had the idea of a new world order but one that depended on the hierarchy being based on the cast and so he needed a scapegoat, someone to divert the aggression on.
Hitlers birthday is celebrated by some who still believe in his philosophy but then is looked upon by others as the bringing of a curse to this planet.
