Honda Skydeck Concept minivan was revealed in Tokyo Motor Show in 2009. The van looks like a vehicle fresh out of a sci-fi movie. The six seat van’s front doors open upwards and backdoors slide backwards, making it easier to park the vehicle in a crowded place. However parking the beauty is out of question since the vehicle is just an imagination and production is just out of question. Honda is calling its Skydeck Concept a combination of clarity and dynamics. The wide roof of glass provides the clarity and Honda’s tire fitting provides the dimension of dynamics. The seats in the Honda Skydeck Concept are a class apart. One the seats look like the ones you have experienced on the airport terminals, slim but relaxing not usual fat, foam filled dumb seats. The seats are attached to a central beam like fitting which provides the mobility to the second and third row of seats. Second row of seats easily fits under the first one and third row goes down creating a plenty of space to put whatever you want to. The van is hybrid and the battery is fitted in the middle of the minivan.
Honda officials are saying that Honda Skydeck Concept is an attempt to bring the vehicle closer to its driver and his wishes and expectations.
Full features are still not available, however the consumers have started asking about the release date and the model is bound to do moving and shaking in the auto industry.
