Honey i shrunk the kids was a comedy film first released in 1989 and produced by Walt Disney. It made a business of 222,724,172 dollars. It was followed by three parts honey i shrunk the kids part2 and honey i shrunk the kids part 3.The story was based on a professor who mistakenly shrinks the kids. The kids are sent out via trash into the backyard. An animated version of the movie honey i shrunk the kids was also made. honey i shrunk the kids was also awarded the Saturn award. It was also nominated for best visual effects at BAFTA.
The director of the film was Joe Johnston and was filmed in Churubusco studio. It was as well, nominated for the prestigious young Artist award.
