Horia Cretan is making headline day after day. The man who rescued the boy from a fire has now proposed to his girlfriend on Good Morning America.
On Wednesday, Horia Cretan was working in his store in Bronx when he heard a boy in his neighbors screaming for help. He rushed outside and what he saw was a shocking scene. A four-year-old boy was screaming for help while there was smoke coming out of the fire at the fourth floor of the building. The boy was standing near the window. Horia Cretan took the ladder and reached the boy who was trying to breathe from the window. Horia told the reporters that the minor was already foaming at his mouth. Rescuers gave him a limp and Horia jumped holding the boy in his hands. The boy fell back which made Horia afraid. Horia told the reporters that the child was not breathing but then he gave him CPR. The boy is now expected to recover soon. The rescuing won Horia applause from a people around the country.
Next day, Horia was invited to a live show Good Morning America at ABC. Horia appeared in the show along with his girlfriend. He then bowed to one knee and proposed her. “I promise you one thing, there’s never going to be a dull moment.
So therefore will you marry me anyway?”, said Horia lovingly.
His girlfriend, ‘Desiree’, said a ‘yes’ to his proposal with a beaming smile on her face. Horia then slipped the ring in her fingers.
The two incidents makes Horia a truly brave man!
