
Hyalinobatrachium pellucidum is a type of crystal frog or glass frog. This species “Hyalinobatrachium pellucidum” skin is translucent and you can see their internal organs if you flip them upside down. Hyalinobatrachium pellucidum is micro-sized frog. It is smaller than a figure-nail but can reach to the size of a grasshopper. Hyalinobatrachium pellucidum, A.K.A “Glass Frog” is not new to science but they classed as an endangered species according to the IUCN “International Union for Conservation of Nature” Red List. This glass frog belongs to the Centrolenidae family of frog.
Its likely habitats for “Hyalinobatrachium pellucidum” are subtropical or tropical damp mountains and riverbeds. This glass grog is endangered mainly due to its habitat environment loss, even though protection programs have began to help save this attractive frog species. Scientists have come back with some astonishingly vibrant images of endangered and never-before-seen critters from a brief trip to the Nangaritza Protected Forest in Ecuador, near the Peruvian border.
