India was in deep trouble when Laxman followed the little master. India just scored 32 runs and lost 4 wickets and the game was on for Srilanka.
Then came King Sing Yuvraj Sing, he is in great touch nowadays and he again handled the situation very well. On the other hand Rahul Dravid was remained unnoticed and kept on scoring runs with his slick and stylish batting style.
Here came Murlidharan and managed to get rid of Yuvraj Sing. Yuvraj scored 50 runs.
Dravid on the other hand keep on repairing the early damages done by the Srilankan, after the departure of Yuvraj, Rahul was joined by MS Dhoni, and he also played very sensibly and built a good partnership. Dravid scored another 150 and Dhoni was also rushing towards his yet another Test match hundred.
The first day of the Ahmadabad test had quite a few twists but overall the middle order batsmen of India played superbly and they just brought back India in quite a strong position at 350-5 and match has yet to be finished for today.
