The second day night 20/20 at Mohall reproduced almost the same batting performance by Sri Lankan batsman like the first 20/20. They scored 207 runs in 20 over and you can imagine how well they might have played. Sri Lanka won the toss in the second 20/20 and decided to bat first. Dilshan has to go back in just second over of the match as he was clean bowled by Sharma. Sanath Jayasuriya has once again told the cricketing world that he still has the class and power with him, he played like a young fresh player, he scored all around the ground, he scored 31 runs for just 21 balls including a massive six and 5 classy boundaries, he was given LBW on the bowling of pathan, Sri Lanka lost their second wicket in 8th over at the total of 91. Sanghakara, the Skipper is in very good nick, he played superbly for his 59 with 8 boundaries and 3 sixers, he was caught by Nehra on the bowling of Yuvraj, and Sri Lankans were 121 on the board in the 11th over.
Dhoni was watching Sri Lankans playing all around the ground without any mercy for the Indian bowlers. With a combined effort and Indian catch dropping series Sri Lanka again manage to put 207 runs on the board , a massive score to chase with an average of more then 10 runs per over.
It looked difficult for Indian Batting line keeping in mind the last 20/20, but Indians bounced back again, Sehwag was behind the Sri Lankan bowlers he scored 64 runs off just 36 balls, 7 boundaries and 3 sixers. Dhoni also played another captain’s inning; he scored 46 off 28 balls. When Sehwag got out, Sri Lankans just thought they have something to cheer about, but they proved wrong by Yuvraj, he played the cricket ball like a football, he smashed the ball in all corners of the ground, he hit 5 sixes for his 60 runs in just 25 balls, what else India wants from Yuvraj, he took the game away from Sri Lankans single handedly and finally India won the match in the 20th over with 6 wickets behind.
Well, whenever India played in Cricket, the historian has to record it, this is the highest run chase by any team in the version of 20/20 cricket.
Heads off to Yuvraj, who took his team to the victory and the series draw with one win each for India and Sri Lanka.
